A visa decides how long you may stay in Thailand and for what purpose. There is no single "Thai visa" — there are categories, and choosing the wrong one creates problems later. We handle all of the common ones and the conversions between them.
Visa categories we handle
- Non-B — employment, the visa that pairs with a Work Permit
- Non-O — retirement, marriage to a Thai national, and family dependants
- Non-ED — study, language courses and student dependants
- Business and investor categories for company directors and shareholders
- Tourist entry extensions when you need more time
- Conversion from a tourist entry to a Non-B or Non-O inside Thailand
- Re-entry permits, single and multiple, so a trip abroad does not cancel your status
Documents usually required
- Passport valid at least six months, with blank pages
- Application forms, completed and signed
- Photographs to specification
- Evidence of the purpose: employment contract, marriage certificate, school acceptance letter, or financial evidence for retirement
- Employer or company documents where the visa is employment-based
- Proof of address in Thailand
How the process runs
- We review your nationality, current status and what you want to achieve
- We confirm which category is correct and whether it can be done inside Thailand
- Documents are prepared and checked before anything is filed
- We submit, follow up and monitor until the stamp is in your passport
- We confirm the new dates and tell you when the next action falls due
Timing
Most extensions are completed within one to two weeks when the file is complete. Conversions and some categories take longer, and some require an exit and re-entry. We will tell you which applies before you commit.
Worth knowing
Visa dates and Work Permit dates rarely align. If you hold a Work Permit, we check both together so you are never compliant on one document and exposed on the other.
